Decided to join in a fun meme I'd seen floating around the blogsphere. This is one of those "100s" lists. It lists 100 activities and you are to bold the ones you have done and italicize five you would like to do most. If you want to participate, just snag and post to your blog!
1. Started my own blog - and here you are
2. Slept under the stars – in the mountains. Though I spent most of the time burrowing deep in my sleeping bag too afraid I would be bear bait.
3. Played in a band – I played the flute... what, it was junior high marching band
4. Visited Hawaii – I have been to the big island, even walked over the active volcano. I would love to go back and see more of the big island, or any of the other islands.
5. Watched a meteor shower6. Given more than I can afford to charity – I used to give a lot to charity when I first started working... long before the husband and the baby came along.
7. Been to Disneyland/world - Both! Multiple times! I have been to Disneyworld twice and Disneyland more times than I can count. Love them both. Disneyland is a great one day trip, but Disneyworld has so much to offer. Loved Epcot the best!!!
8. Climbed a mountain - yup, the same one that I camped out under the stars on.
9. Held a praying mantis – once and only once... more than enough for me... ick
10. Sung a solo – only in karaoke and horribly off key.
11. Bungee jumped – not sure I will ever try this one
12. Visited Paris – I so want to go explore Europe, some day I hope
13. Watched lightning at sea14. Taught myself an art from scratch – I taught myself painting from scratch... well, I started to, then decided to take a class to learn more about blending and really work on my art
15. Adopted a child – no, but have thought about it
16. Had food poisoning – yes, something I hope to never experience again
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty – No, though if I ever make it to that part of the east coast I want to.
18. Grown my own vegetables –
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France
20. Slept on an overnight train - maybe if I make it to Europe
21. Had a pillow fight – heck yeah... plenty of pillow fights in my past
22. Hitchhiked - No!!!!! Never will either
23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill24. Built a snow fort – it was a tiny little thing though, we gave up before we made it too far, though we did dig out a decent hole/wall combo to hide behind
25. Held a lamb26. Gone skinny dipping – Ah, the things we do in our youth :)
27. Run a Marathon – Uhm, nope, so not a runner!!!
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice
29. Seen a total eclipse30. Watched a sunrise or sunset31. Hit a home run – Nope, only played one year of softball and I was never very good at it.
32. Been on a cruise – my Mom's 50th birthday party was on a cruise for a weekend. I would love to take more cruises in the future.
33. Seen Niagara Falls in person34. Visited the birthplace of my ancestors – nope, but I would love to if I get to Europe some day
35. Seen an Amish community
36. Taught myself a new language – took 3 years of Spanish in school, but remember only the littlest bit of it
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied - then I bought a house, got married, and had a baby... would be satisfied if the debts were all paid off these days
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person
39. Gone rock climbing – only once, and it was more of a learning hill than a true climb
40. Seen Michelangelo’s David
41. Sung karaoke – only when rather buzzed and under great pressure from friends to do it... then they realized just how horrible I was and stole the microphones back
42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt – A couple of times. It is awesome to see... but a bit on the stinky side.
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant44. Visited Africa – Nope, not really a country I want to see though
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight – Yes, I love to do this while on vacation.
46. Been transported in an ambulance47. Had my portrait painted – Oooo... this sounds fun.
48. Gone deep sea fishing – No thanks, not a fish person
49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person
50. Been to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris
51. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling – have been snorkeling, but I kept trying to swallow water, so I had to give up. Totally thinking of trying out scuba one of these days.

55. Been in a movie – Only the little homemade ones and one that we did for a school project
56. Seen the Great Wall of China – No, but I think it would be cool
57. Started a business – Nope... no desire too. Though with the work I do these days, I help other people start businesses.
58. Taken a martial arts class – no, but would like to

60. Served at a soup kitchen – Have never seen one either.

77. Broken a bone - yup, broke my arm when I was 10, and I am pretty sure I have broken my little toe on at least one occasion.

82. Bought a brand new car – my cobalt was brand new when I bought it... 48 miles.

84. Had my picture in the newspaper – Yup, when I got married :)
85. Read the entire Bible – thanks in large part to my old and new testament courses in college
86. Visited the White House – that east coast trip I am thinking of
87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating
88. Had chickenpox89. Saved someone’s life
90. Sat on a jury – Nope, I was dismissed during the selection process the only time I had to report in.

92. Joined a book club93. Lost a loved one94. Had a baby95. Seen the Alamo in person96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake97. Been involved in a lawsuit - only through work, I have done exhibits and stuff
98. Owned a cell phone99. Been stung by a bee – twice... the same weekend
100. Ridden an elephantWow... 59 things done so far :) And if I ever make that long desired trip to Europe or the East Coast (New York and DC) I can cross off a bunch more.
